Asian crispy salad

For 2 people

  • ½ red chilli, deseeded and thinly sliced

  • 1 tablespoon yuzu juice

  • 1 teaspoon palm sugar

  • ½ teaspoon fish sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1.5 cm ginger, peeled and finely chopped

  • 1 clove of garlic, puréed

  • ¼ iceberg lettuce, sliced

  • toasted sesame seeds to garnish



  1. Thinly slice the iceberg lettuce. Put it in your serving bowl.

  2. To make the dressing, mix together all the ingredients, except the iceberg and sesame seeds. Check the seasoning.

  3. Just before serving toss the dressing through the iceberg and top with the sesame seeds.
