Courgettes and potatoes gratin


For 4 persons

  • 3 courgettes

  • 10 small potatoes

  • 50 ml double cream

  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

  • salt

  • pepper

  • 10 g butter

  • 50 g grated gruyere

  1. Peel the potatoes and cook them in boiling water for 15 minutes

  2. Peel the courgettes and cut them in slices

  3. Once potatoes are cooked and cool down slice them

  4. Put a layer of courgette, salt and pepper, a layer of potatoes until no more ingredients (ideally last layer is with courgettes) in a baking tray

  5. Spread thin slices of butter

  6. Cover with the double cream and the grated cheese

  7. Put in preheated at 180C oven for 30 minutes
