Super tasty and easy to make

For 6 persons

  • 1.8kg pork shoulder (without bone)

  • 230ml barbecue sauce

  • 80ml apple cider vinegar

  • 150ml chicken stock

  • 1 tablespoon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon chilli powder

  • 1 extra large onion, chopped

  • 2 large cloves garlic, crushed

  • 2 laurel leaves

  1. Place the pork shoulder into the slow cooker

  2. Mix together the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, chicken stock, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chilli powder, onion, garlic

  3. Put them in the slow cooker, add the laurel leaves

  4. Cover and cook on low heat for 7 hours

  5. Shred the pork with a fork, return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and stir well

  6. Cover and cook 1 hour on low heat

Serve with vegetables (carrot mash and courgettes on the picture), rice or polenta.

I didn't thought it was that easy to do a pulled pork. It was delicious. I think there were just a bit too much of chilies powder.

But I will do it again for sure
