Red berries crumble

Very easy, delicious sour and sweet balance

For 8 people

  • 180g flour

  • 180g sugar

  • 120g butter

  • 3 tablespoons ground almond (optional)

  • 700g frozen red berries

  1. Defrost and drain the red berries in a colander.

  2. Put the flour, butter and sugar in a bowl and squash together with the fingers into a crumble texture.

  3. Optional - Sprinkle the ground almonds over the base of an ovenproof dish. This is to soak the juice of the berries to prevent it to mix with the crumble.

  4. Spoon in the fruit, then the crumble mixture.

  5. Bake in the oven at 180C for 40 minutes.
