Deliciously easy, melt in the mouth biscuits with just a touch of spice
For 60 biscuits
250 g flour
100 g butter
125 g sugar
50 g almond powder
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon of milk
1 teaspoon of baking powder
2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of ginger
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
1 zest of lime
Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, almond powder and spices in a bowl.
Add the egg and the melted butter.
Knead to get a ball. If the ball is friable add a tablespoon of water.
Roll out the pastry, cut it with pastry cutters. Put the biscuits in a baking tray covered with a baking paper.
Preheat the oven at 200C.
Brush the biscuit with the egg yolk mixed with a teaspoon of milk.
Bake in the oven for 7 minutes.
Let them cool down and store in an air tight container.
