Hazelnut lime and poppy seeds cake

Delicious soft and sweet treat

For 6 persons

  • 2 eggs

  • 70 g sugar

  • 30 g honey

  • 60 g coconut oil

  • 50 g sour cream

  • 1 lime

  • 100 g flour

  • 50 g hazelnut powder

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 50 g roughly chopped hazelnuts

  1. In a big bowl mix the eggs, the sugar, the honey, the oil and cream.

  2. Add the lime zest and its juice.

  3. Add the flour, the hazelnut powder, the salt, the poppy seeds and the baking powder. Mix well.

  4. Put the mixture in an oiled cake tin.

  5. Scatter the chopped walnuts on top.

  6. Baked in preheated oven at 180C for 35 minutes.

  7. Let it cool down and remove from the tin.
