Scottish shortbread

Perfect for tea time

For 8 shortbreads

  • 170g plain white flour

  • 55g sugar

  • 110g salted butter

  1. Preheat the oven at 190C.

  2. Soften the butter. Mix all ingredients together until getting a dough.

  3. Roll it out in your pan (2cm thick).

  4. Prick them with a fork and cut the dough into finger.

  5. Cook in the oven for 25 minutes. Cut them again into finger (they may have merged while cooking). Let them cool before moving them out of the pan to cool completely.
